Bn. He was born in Los Angeles and lived in Escondido, CA. He owned a liquor store there while serving in WW 2 up until his death.

He died in Oct. 0f 1960 when I was 5 years old, so I do not know too much about his service except to say that I have heard minimal stories that he served as a cook and he was in the Battle of the Bulge and he was among the liberating troops of Bergen-Belson & Birkenau. Whether this is true, I do not know, but would be very interested to find out where and how he may have served. I cannot seem to find much info on the 776th A\FA BN. at all.
