I am looking for information from veterans who knew my father, Burt R. Allen. He was a sergeant in the 738th. He died in 1989 before I was old enough to fathom and appreciate the sacrifices made during WWI. I do have his discharge papers but that is about it. Any information is greatly appreciated.
