Looking for any 8" howitzer people from the 793rd FA Bn, XIX Corps Artillery, lst US Army. Landed from LCT at Omaha Beach on 22 June, did a "close station, march order" at the Elbe River to Giessen, Germany in May. First 8" how. unit to fire in Normandy!
