My father John (Pete) Kaufman was in the 70th Field Artillary Bat during WWII. Most of his memorable has been given to grandkids, etc. and we are unable to find much info about this unit. He had a patch with a hatchet and Trail Blazers on it. Any help offered would be greatly appreciated. I also want to thank ALL veterans for what they have done and continue to do for our country.
