It has been a while since I posted that message. I have since collected a lot of information on my dad's unit. The 327th FA Bn was the only 155-mm Howitzer battalion in the 84th Inf Div. My dad was in B Battery of that battalion. They began at Camp Howze, TX and later moved to Camp Claiborne, LA. From there they went to Camp Kilmer,NJ where they embarked for the ETO in Sept. '44 they received 3 battle stars, one being the Bulge. I would be interested in any Info regarding my question you could provide.
Thanks
Ed
