Looking for info. about my dad, Beverley Roy Dudley, III, inducted into the Army in Richmond, VA, 10 Feb. 1943. Trained at Ft. Bragg and was sent to North Africa in Field Artillery. After that, he was switched to signal corps. & stationed in Sicily. He got shrapnel injury (?) and came back through various (psychiatric?) hospitals (due to shrapnel? due to migraines? or due to bipolar disorder?). Honorably discharged Nov. 5, 1943. Founded fastest growing American Legion Post (#200 in Richmond, VA) and served as commander for two years. Deceased. His cousin - Alfred Dudley - is putting together info. about all of the Dudley's who served in the Armed Forces (includes Roger Dudley, my uncle). Any info. welcome.
